Pulsee Luce&Gas cuts spending on the bill and rewards virtuous behavior

An ever-increasing number of consumers is demonstrating that economy and ecology can go hand in hand, favoring the purchase of high energy saving appliances (starting from simple light bulbs) and implementing daily anti-waste behaviours.

The direct consequence is a substantial saving on the bill, and it is precisely on this incentive that Pulsee Luce&Gas has decided to focus, offering its customers the possibility of monitoring your consumption in real time (immediately adopting more sustainable habits) by making various tools available to them, including the energy meter.

SAVINGS ON BILLS AND SUSTAINABILITY

Pulsee Luce e Gas, Axpo Italia’s full digital brand for domestic energy, has innovated its app, making it smarter and enriching it with useful tools to promote the virtuous behavior of its customers.

Pulsee Play now allows you to monitor the consumption of household appliances in real time (both powered by electricity and gas), offering the possibility of correcting any negative and burdensome habits, through three sections: Energy meter, Rewards and Green Hero.

Alicia Lubrani, Chief Marketing Officer and Country Corporate Communication Director of Axpo and Pulsee, commented:

We are engaged in constant work to develop new services which not only represent added value for consumers but which, by providing them with concrete advantages and stimuli towards a more sustainable world, allow us to continue to go beyond the commodity. For us, putting the consumer at the center means anticipating their needs, adapting our ecosystem to their lifestyles and allowing them to have a more aware, responsible and safe relationship with their home energy. The energy sector is often associated with uncertainty, difficulty in understanding and distance from the real needs of customers. With Pulsee Luce e Gas we have always promoted simplification, transparency and sustainability. If we can also reward our customers by bringing them advantages linked to their small daily green skills, this is certainly a further step towards innovation in the sector.

Just over a year after its introduction, the new system for monitoring and rewarding conscious consumption by Pulsee Luce&Gas has seen the participation of over 5,000 customers, with a saving of approximately 50,000 kg of CO₂ and over 2 million liters of water.

The initiative is also concretely implementing two of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) promoted by the United Nations, namely number 12 (responsible consumption and production) and 13 (climate action).

PULSEE LUCE&GAS PRESENTS THE ENERGYMETER

While rewards and rewards programs are quite widespread among electricity and gas suppliers, the energy meter presented by Pulsee is probably unique in its kind.

The tool, available to all customers of the company who have it for their home a second generation meter (2G), capable of recording and updating kWh consumption at 15 minute intervals.

The meter data, Pulsee guarantees, they will be accessible only to the owner of the supply.

Second generation meters are essential for the operation of the energy meter, because they monitor the energy absorption frequencies, which are different depending on the appliance turned on; in this way, through the app, the customer can know exactly the consumption of the appliance in use at that moment, adjusting their habits accordingly and cutting costs on the bill.

Fundamental step to use the energy meter correctly is to complete the onboarding process at the time of registration, precisely recording each household appliance.

The Energy Meter is a service created by Midori Connect, a Turin company that develops technologies and services for energy analysis in the property sector. CEO Christian Camarda said:

We are excited to help Pulsee Electricity and Gas customers better understand how they use energy at home through the Energimeter’s analysis and recommendations. The energy data measured by new generation meters, in fact, they have enormous potential that we are able to enhance through our technology.
