Milazzo: Asmel procurement tour, important meeting for regulatory updates and support for the bureaucratic apparatus

The traveling event of Asmel, the Association for Subsidiarity and Modernization of Local Authorities, which has over 4,400 members, including over 320 Sicilian municipalities, took place at the Trifiletti theater. Numerous administrators, secretaries and municipal technicians participated in the Sicilian stage of the Pnrr 2.0 Procurement Tour. The sector experts addressed issues of crucial interest for the Municipalities, especially in this historical moment, among these, Cig, end of Smartcig, Pcp and Pad Platforms, Fvoe 2.0, PVL, new procedural rules for small and medium-sized municipal works, new obligations ReGis and revocation of funds including non-Pnrr.
“We were very happy to host a stage of Asmel’s Procurement 2.0 Tour and see the large participation of Administrators, Secretaries and Technicians from the Municipalities of our province,” declared Mayor Pippo Midili. “The meeting allowed us to receive valuable information on the practices to be adopted to improve the effectiveness of work within the offices of local authorities, but it also represented a moment of discussion between sector experts on issues related to the world of procurement. For those who work in local authorities it is essential to always be up to date with regulatory changes and I believe that Asmel’s role is fundamental to receive the practical and theoretical support needed to improve the skills of the bureaucratic apparatus”.
