On its official website the Lazio has published a new statement containing the plan complete with the commitments of youth from the Lazio during this weekend.
It’s a rich weekend between Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April: there are five challenges scheduled for the competitive teams of the Biancoceleste Youth Sector.
The first and only ones to take to the field on Saturday are Gianluca Procopio’s boys. L’Under 16 hosts the Salernitana players of the same age at the ‘La Borghesiana’ Sports Centre. On the penultimate day of the Regular Season, the eagles born in 2008 must win the victory to defend third place in the standings and leave Fiorentina behind, just two points behind.
Tommaso Rocchi’s eagles born in 2010 play Sunday’s postponement. Lazio awaits Città di Ciampino at the ‘Green Club’, a match valid for the last day of the championship Under 14 Regional Excellence. The Biancocelesti are first and have already qualified for the quarter-finals and want to continue maintaining their unbeaten record.
Sunday continues with a busy agenda. Last day of the regular season for theUnder 15. The boys born in 2009 led by Giorgio Galluzzo are busy traveling to Empoli. Lazio, who have already secured the pass for the round of 16 in the category, face the Tuscans still fighting to defend second place.
It’s derby for theUnder 17, a derby that could prove decisive for Marco Alboni’s eagles born in 2007. On the penultimate day of the Regular Season, Lazio must obtain full spoils to keep their hopes of qualifying for the final stages still alive, also looking at the result of Frosinone, currently fourth. A difficult challenge also for Roma who are still hoping for second place in the rankings. A decisive derby for the season of both teams.
L’Under 18 by Francesco Punzi is busy far from friendly walls. The Biancocelesti face the hosts Sassuolo on Sunday morning. Lazio must keep their concentration high against the neroverdi who were quite difficult especially in the second part of the season. Seven days before the end of the championship, the Eagles born in 2006 must try to follow up on the excellent performance seen against Inter to defend the playoff zone.
Everything is ready for another weekend full of challenges, the young eagles are ready to fly.
