Sit-in by Sapienza students in Piazzale Clodio in Rome where this morning the two students arrested yesterday by the police during the pro-Palestine demonstration in the San Lorenzo neighborhood will be directly tried. The 29-year-old and 27-year-old face charges of injury and resistance.

Meanwhile, yesterday, not only at La Sapienza, but also at Tor Vergata, students protested against “the genocide in Palestine”. Many of them moved with their tents to Sapienza, “to give support – write the students of Cambiare Route – to a battle that has seen the rector of the largest university in Europe avoid dialogue with the students for months”. The Tor Vergata protesters will continue their agitation while awaiting the Academic Senate scheduled for May 21st.
