Withdrawal of Auronzo, the mayor terminates the contract: the situation

However, the problem relating to accommodation seems to be far from resolved Lazio for collection. In recent days it was delivered to the table of the president of Media Sport Event, Gianni Lacchè, a letter of termination of the contract from the Municipality signed by the mayor Dario Vecellio.

Among the main reasons there would also be that on April 10th, the final date for choosing the accommodation facility, the Hotel Auronzo was not available. The Municipality would write that Media Sport Event would not be able to guarantee the existing and effective availability of the hotel that can be used for the mandate. According to Gianni Lacché, however, the mandate does not contain a clause of this type, writes the newspaper, that is, the obligation to communicate the host hotel. The hotel should be operational starting from May 15th, the date of designation of the manager by the court. In the remote back and forth the mayor Dario Vecellio has neither confirmed nor denied the termination of the contract: “I don’t want to talk about Lazio’s withdrawal anymore. It’s time to end it.”

Gianni Lacché on the question he replied: “If the mayor doesn’t do it, I am willing to inform the citizens of what the facts really are and what the consequences could be if Lazio’s withdrawal does not go through.” He then explained that the unilateral renunciation of the Municipality will lead to a series of extremely costly legal disputes and that Lazio will sue Media Sport Event for compensation. Then, a lawsuit will be filed against the Municipality of Auronzo di Cadore, I demand more than the agreed 300 thousand euros per year. In conclusion he maintained that President Lotito will call Mayor Vecellio so that he can reconsider his position.
