The petrol price continues its upward trend. The increase in costs comes as the April 25th and May 1st holidays approach, when millions of Italians will use the car to go on holiday. A situation already seen and reviewed during the summer exoduses and official holidays.

Gasoline costs rising

Currently the average price at the pump in most Italian provinces for petrol is around 2.3 euros per litre for the served. But there is no shortage of tips 2.5 euros/litre. How much diesel costs in Italy today

The price of diesel hovers around an average of 2.3 euros per servedbreaking through the 2.5 euro/litre mark at the pumps that charge the highest prices.

In highway the same distributor mentioned above offers diesel fuel to 2,399 euros per litre for the served (self at 1,999 euro/litre).

In the previous days, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy invited us to avoid alarmism regarding the cost of fuel, speaking of a “substantial stability” of prices. Mimit underlined that just as there are “a few dozen distributors who charge a higher price for what they serve”, at the same time there are “several thousand who, to date, charge a lower price than the national average”.
