The sustainable and widespread energy transition at the center of the meeting between Confcooperative Piacenza and Anci on Thursday 18 April – “A sustainable and widespread energy transition across the territory constitutes not only a fundamental challenge for improving people’s quality of life, but also an important opportunity for entrepreneurial development”. Gianluca Bariola, director of Confcooperative Piacenza, is convinced of this and, in collaboration with Anci Emilia Romagna, organized a meeting aimed at public administrators of local municipalities to delve deeper into the topic from an administrative and technical point of view. The event, which was created in collaboration with the Province of Piacenza, the Diocese of Piacenza and Emilia Tourist Destination, is set for Thursday 18 April at 10.30 am in the Provincial Council Room and will have as speaker Alessandro Rossi, energy, environment contact and sustainability Anci Emilia Romagna.

“Starting from the fact that 44 percent of the Pnrr funds have been allocated to promote energy and environmental sustainability interventions – Bariola points out – we have several opportunities before us that we cannot miss. The entire challenge of the energy transition, in its various facets and regulatory, technical and managerial implications, brings with it significant opportunities for the territory, for businesses and for citizens, in the vision of the civil economy promoted by Confcooperative. For this reason we are convinced that the cooperative enterprise is congenial for interpreting the transformation affecting the world of energy production and consumption. The social nature of our businesses, combined with the ability to look at the growth of the territory in an integrated way, can give an effective response to increasingly urgent issues such as self-consumption, the energy requalification of buildings, digitalisation. These are sectors that can find a very large space for entrepreneurial development”.

“On these issues – he concludes – Confcooperative Piacenza therefore wants to take on a role of technical and regulatory facilitation aimed at all those involved in the construction of networks, as well as an almost tailor-made support for developing entrepreneurial ideas”. In this sense, the meeting scheduled for Thursday 18 April can offer an opportunity to reflect on the possible role of local authorities within a legal context that increasingly favors democratic, inclusive business tools that have the full development of the community at heart of reference.
