Flood: Figliuolo, first reimbursements to families by April

BOLOGNA, 15 APR – “I confirm that the first refreshments will arrive by April. Next week I will be more precise, but I can confirm it to you.” General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, extraordinary commissioner for floods, said this on the sidelines of the ceremony organized by the National Academy of Agriculture at the Archiginnasio in which he was awarded the title of Honorary Academician. “We have around 1,900 accesses from people who have entered and uploaded documents to the Sphinx platform – continues Figliuolo – of these 550 have been hired by the Municipalities and are being evaluated and of these around half have arrived on my desk”. “The resources are confirmed – he clarifies -: 630 million plus 700 million linked to the tax credit and the relevant decree will see the light in the next few days. Added to these are further inflowing resources deriving from the savings linked to the subsidized tax credits which have been given to energy-intensive industries last year. Unfortunately, 66 million of these will go to Tuscany due to the recent floods last November.” “A new ordinance is also arriving which is an integration of the ordinances already made – clarifies the extraordinary commissioner -. We made it together with the territory, also listening to the indications that come from the committees and working together, with great institutional synergy, with the Region, the provinces and the Municipalities. The ordinance has already been signed by me and sent to the Court of Auditors. In 7-10 days maximum it will be operational and will increase the possibility of asking questions”.
