PORDENONE – A few months ago the Municipality of Pordenone announced a tender for the leasing of the Bar located in Piazza a Torre.
A place owned by the municipality that would like to offer the inhabitants of Torre and the entire city a qualitatively important offer, showcasing the food and wine excellences of our territory, with a quality menu, seasonal products at Km Zero, guaranteeing a friendly service and courteous.
Unfortunately, however, none of the competitors who participated in the tender were found suitable for the management of this venue and therefore the Municipality will soon launch a new tender.
The councilor for commerce Elena Ceolin explains: «It is in the interest of the Administration to give Torre a bar that is a point of attraction and a pleasant opportunity for aggregation, which is managed by people who have gained professional experience in this area and which provides quality products, guaranteeing particular openings in the neighborhood. At the same time, we want to protect entrepreneurs, who inevitably have to invest in this activity, and do everything to ensure that their management is attractive and long-lasting.”
When asked if the place will therefore remain closed for a long time, the Administration replies that it is thinking of very concrete alternative solutions to still be able to offer Piazza di Torre the necessary vitality during the summer season.
