PERUGIA – The governor Donatella Tesei announces: «We will soon meet the CEO of Aeroitalia to see how to resolve the critical issues that we have already promptly contested».
Tesei at Pasquale Punzi’s microphone in Corso Vannucci clarifies: «There were actually some disruptions on the flight to Orio al Serio. We have reported the critical issues, issued a warning, now we hope that a way will be found to overcome and correct them. In fact, in this first phase we have seen interest in this connection from passengers.”
But the opposition, with Bori (Pd), hit hard and several, even in the majority, underlined how the feedback on the company did not seem excellent? «Sase thought that this flight was an opportunity for us. I hope that the appropriate solutions will be found because efficiency is the hallmark of our airport in which I continue and continue to invest precisely because it is very important for our region.”
What do you say to those who take advantage of the problems of this flight to attack the Umbrian airport? «Whoever tries to say this says something against reality. Of course we would have liked it not to have happened, but I think it’s clear for all to see what the airport was before and what it is now.”
This is why the meeting with Aeroitalia is fundamental. No shadow on the (undeniable) successes of the airport, and increasingly, of the whole of Umbria.
