Petrucci was transported by air ambulance to the San Camillo hospital in Rome where he is being subjected to a series of tests, including his head: Maurizio Bertea, general secretary of the FIP, is going to the scene. The wife was instead transported to the Tor Vergata Polyclinic. Both were not in danger of their lives. The accident occurred in Valmontone, on the outskirts of Rome, near a curve in the Colle Pereto area, where Petrucci’s car would have gone off the road and then ended up on the cliff, according to an initial reconstruction by the carabinieri. The soldiers of the Colleferro Radiomobile and the Valmontone station were on site for the surveys.
