The Smart is put in crisis by a great news coming from China, with this model that comes with a crazy cost.
For many years the Smart it represented one of the most incredible innovations that the automotive market could offer, as never before had a vehicle with only two seats and perfect as a city car been created. In fact, we are faced with a brand that has made history, with Italy being the nation that has had the greatest success in terms of sales.
The German giant of the Mercedes Group had one of its strong points in the Bel Paese, with the heavy traffic in Rome which was often resolved by Smart Fortwo. In total, since 1998 when this model entered dealerships, 600 thousand models have been sold in Italy, and a third have ended up in the capital.

In fact, the length is only 327 cm, the width is 170 cm and the height is 198 cm. The engine inside allows it to deliver a maximum of 41 horsepower, which allows it to reach 101 km/h. The lithium battery, on the other hand, is 12.92 kWh, with this leading to a maximum of 205 km on the road between one charge and another, but there is also a way to purchase the top of the range model from 307 km.
In the second case the battery actually improves by switching to 27.99 kWh and above all the engine increases to 48 horsepower, while maintaining its peak speed unchanged. For these cars, acceleration is assessed with the passage from 0 to 100 km/h, which occurs in 5.9 seconds.
Inside the Changan Lumin used the Epa0 platform, with the real selling point of this car being its price. At the start it was only 6360 Euros, but now its value has been reduced even further by China.
