Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver The Dead Shall Rise It is a graphic novel prequel to the series, the first Legacy of Kain-themed content since 2003’s Legacy of Kain Defiance (if we exclude the free-to-play Nosgoth, which failed miserably in a short time).
Bit Bot Media and Crystal Dynamics are working on this multi-title project: Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver The Dead Shall Rise is written by Joshua Viola (True Believers, It Came From the Multiplex) and Angie Hodapp (Unioverse, Shadow Atlas), the graphics are by Juan Samu (Star Wars, Godzilla) while the cover is by Dave Rapoza (Destiny, Magic The Gathering) and Aaron Lovett (Monster Train, Inkbound). Interesting on paper, we’ll see if the comic will be able to shake up the waters around this troubled intellectual property.
