WPS and QR code
The simplest and most immediate way to connect to a WiFi network without knowing the password is to use WPS (WiFi Protected Setup). With this function you just need to press a button to connect. To use this system you need to access the WiFi item and then select the WPS option. All we need to do is press the button on the router with the writing WPS to be able to connect without having to type the password.
Another option could be to use QR Codes. These codes can also be used to connect smartphones to routers. To take advantage of this option we need to open the camera of our smartphone and point it at QR code present on the router. Once our mobile phone reads the code, it will automatically connect to the WiFi network without needing to enter a password.
How to activate sharing
Alternatively, to connect without having to type the password, we can always decide to share your password through the device of someone who is already connected. In this way, even when we do not have physical access to the router, we will always have the possibility to connect whenever we want.
