After discovering the unlock time in Italy for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware announces the arrival of some new features for its open world action-RPG, which is finally preparing to welcome the long-awaited expansion.
In addition to paving the arrival of the DLC, the update of the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree day one patches will be released on June 20th, FromSoftware announced on X|Twitter. The update includes bug fixes, balance adjustments and some new features. Among the latter we find: “Newly obtained items will be marked with a “!”. A new tab called “recent items” has been added to review the latest obtained items”.
I’m coming new summoning pool features: “Active summoning pools will now be transferred to the NG+. Individual summoning pools can now be enabled/disabled in the newly added ‘Functions’ menu in the map. Only active summoning pools will be selected when using the small golden effigy”.
The patch also introduces new features for the character editor: “Five new hairstyles have been added to the game. They can be selected during character creation, or using the mirror support or taking advantage of the Reindeer Rebirth feature.”. In view of the arrival of the patch there will be a maintenance period which will be held on June 20th from 09:00 to 12:00.
While waiting for the release scheduled for June 21st on PC and console, Hidetaka Miyazaki spoke about the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree map, which will not be structurally identical to that of the base game.
