The Summer Game Fest events may be over, but don’t despair because Geoff Keighley has already laid out plans for next year’s events.
Via Twitter, Keighley revealed that the Summer Game Fest 2025 is now officially scheduled, with a livestream show featuring a live presentation as well.
What we know about Summer Game Fest 2025
Geoff Keighley wrote precisely, in his own tweet: “We are thrilled to announce that Summer Game Fest will return to Los Angeles in June 2025, including iam8bit Play Days and a livestream reveal event for fans to attend. Together with the industry, we will continue to build the future .”
Even if we don’t have confirmation for the moment, we can assume that the return of the Summer Game Fest will also affect the presence of a series of shows “minors” that gravitate around this type of period, and not just the Showcase organized by Keighley. We’re talking about events like the Guerilla Collective Showcase, the Access-Ability Showcase, the Day of the Devs and the Wholesome Direct, plus a number of larger events that might exist independently but still tend to take advantage of the Summer period Game Fest, such as the Future Games Show, the PC Gaming Show and presentations from major publishers.
Speaking further about this year, first we will have to wait for the arrival of Gamescom, where Ubisoft will be present.
