Drama rages on YouTube after a famous content creator destroys his supercar once again, here’s the story.
In the world that revolves around fame built online and content that is viewed by millions of people every day, it is also and above all YouTubers who are often able to afford truly amazing supercars. People like brothers Jake and Logan Paul, PewDePie or Mr Beast they are all more or less rich people who, if they want, can buy a Ferrari or a Lamborghini to flaunt it on social media.
The fact is that as much as we can repeat it, people with a lot of money they will never understand that a rich bank account does not automatically give an individual the ability to drive a supercar. In fact, the latest episode that happened in recent weeks, which concerns an online content creator, proves that often, buying a car worth more than a million euros is of no use if you aren’t capable of carrying it!
In the last few hours a rather famous driver and YouTuber by name Edmond “Mondi” Barseghian has reached the headlines not only for his 191 thousand subscribers on YouTube but for having destroyed a truly rare and expensive supercar, even if at least he didn’t do it to get views like some colleagues do! The pilot made a mistake and paid dearly for it and it’s not even the first time.
McLaren in ruins
Having become famous precisely for his content related to the world of motors, “Mondi” as he calls himself online has a truly impressive collection of supercars which he continuously shows on his channel like the car he unfortunately damaged in recent days: it is a very rare McLaren Sennaa supercar produced in just five hundred units which has a very high cost.
The video creator had shown off his McLaren Senna some time ago on his channel in a special video but he couldn’t imagine that the joy of buying it would not last long. The car would have been destroyed with very serious damage to the carbon chassis in the area between Ventura Boulevard and Woodland Hills in Los Angeles; after a crazy race through the streets of the city, the car ended up against a Toyota Camry and was seriously damaged.
His fans online suggested that the destroyed car could be Modi’s they recognized the car from his livery. Produced in a few hundred units, the supercar has a 790 horsepower V8 engine and weighs 1,374 kilograms with the carbon fiber monocoque structure significantly reducing its net mass. The car costs between 750,000 and 1,916,793 euros depending on the version, reaches 340 kilometers per hour and reaches zero to one hundred in 2.8 seconds.
