The service will analyze the content of the emails received and decide whether to place them in the “Updates” category“. This category includes important emails that contain confirmations, receipts, invoices and messages that require significant attention from users. The “Updates” category will be prominently displayed in the interface as such emails require an immediate response.
The first time the classification occurs, users will receive an introductory banner that will explain step by step how it works. Users, in any case, will be able to decide to leave this function active or deactivate it. Big G continues to leave a high degree of customization to the user, who can therefore decide whether or not to keep the innovations depending on their needs. At the moment, this function is not active for everyone but only for some Workspace accounts. Gmail, therefore, continues to update itself: this innovation obviously simplifies the use of the app by users who will manage emails more carefully.
