Coinciding with the Guerrilla Collective which served as the backdrop to the Yooka-Replaylee gameplay video, the digital forges of Limited Run Games gave moments of pure joy to Tombi fans with the first gameplay video of Tombi Special Edition coming to PC, Switch and PlayStation console.
Old and new Tombi fans will be able to experience the adventures of the ‘pink-haired jungle boy’ and have fun in ‘nostalgic’ scenarios reconstructed in high definition via Carbon Engine.
The updated re-release of Tombi will include lots of side missions and all the contents of the original adventure, as well as numerous improvements, optimizations that will cross every aspect of the work, including interesting additions such as new objects to be used to expand the ways in which the levels can be overcome. The multimedia gallery accessible from the menu will then give access to unpublished preparatory sketches and interviews with the developers of the cult platform adventure.
Tombi Special Edition will be available fromAugust 1st on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
