To be precise, the message sent to Kit & Krysta, two content creators who are former Nintendo ambassadors, reads: “Get ready for the ultimate show. Join us for the preview of Capcom’s special announcements during the Summer Game Fest 2024 digital event on the 7th June”.
What does Capcom have in store for us?
As mentioned at the beginning, Capcom speaks of “special announcements”, in the plural, thus suggesting that perhaps the new chapter of the hunting series will not be the only protagonist of the event. The ticket also uses generic Summer Game Fest colors and themes, rather than something personalized reminiscent of Monster Hunter Wilds, which as we know is already one of the confirmed protagonists of the event.
In short, it is likely that Capcom has other surprises in store for players, although it is difficult to make concrete hypotheses given that it could really be anything, from a new Street Fighter 6 fighter or a free update of Exoprimal, up to a possible expansion of Dragon’s Dogma 2, news on the disappeared Pragmata or the announcement of Resident Evil 9 or a remake of past games.
