The Spanish car market is growing more and more and you can see it with a model that has a truly aggressive new look.
Until a few years ago it was certainly not the car market that had made it famous Spain and its own industry. This has always been noted also from the words of one of the greatest Iberian drivers in history, with Fernando Alonso who has repeatedly admitted that the interest in F1 in his home country was sparked thanks to his peak on the track.
Even the number of companies that produce cars is certainly limited compared to the rest of the large European nations and everything goes back to Seat. However, the Spanish company has known how to grow in recent years also thanks to its entry into the Volkswagen Group, with the German giant that contributed to the development of this reality.
This can be seen, for example, in the fact that Seat’s flagship sports brand, the Cupra, has now become increasingly well known. With its launch, the Spanish company has demonstrated that it designs a series of excellent cars, capable above all of launching itself into the electric reality, as can be seen with the presence of the Cupra, together with ABT, in the World Championship Formula E.
The results at the moment are certainly not the most exciting, but everything is there to ensure that Cupra increases its reputation. There Formentor it is one of the most popular cars in the Iberian range, with this one having recently been modernized and renewed in look, but it is not the only one that has given way to a nice restyling.
Cupra Leon: here’s how it changes for the future
After becoming known throughout Europe as Seat Leonfor a few years now we have moved on to the production of Cupra Leon. It is a model that is appreciated for its compact dimensions, with a length of 440 cm, a width of 180 cm and a height of 144 cm, which makes this a car approved for five people.
There is no shortage of developments from a technological point of view, so much so that there is talk of a car developed based on the company’s MQB platform. Volkswagen. Also interesting is Cupra’s decision to focus on a car that can be extremely ecological, so much so that 73% of the material used to design this car comes from recycled products. Inside it features a 12.9-inch digital instrument panel, but it is above all the choice of engine that drives you crazy.
The basic variant is a 150 horsepower petrol engine and the performance peak is reached with the all-wheel drive variant Sportstourer VZ with 333 horsepower. An increase of a further 23 horsepower compared to the current model, with the Cupra Leon therefore becoming even sportier and capable of establishing itself on the market worldwide.
