THE bad PS2 games we know them well by now: there are the terrible Phoenix Games games and authentic graphic horrors like Konami’s Police 9-1-1… But what is the game that the public considers the absolute worst ever released on the PlayStation 2?
To find out we went to Metacritic, looking for the lowest User Score of all PlayStation 2 games. And we discovered something very interesting, for example at the moment there are no games with a User Score lower than 2.0, while on more recent platforms there is no shortage of games also emblazoned with a User Score of 0.5, 1.0 or 1.5, a sign of an average quality of the games quite high at the time.
Lowest User Score for a PS2 game Dog’s Life wins it with a 2.0 sound: this sort of home Nintendogs was released in September 2004 and compared to a Metascore of 64/100 it has a User Score of just 2.0 as mentioned, no one worse than him.
Wanting to draw up an ideal podium of the worst games for PS2 according to the players we also find Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo with a score of 2.3 and Big Mutha Truckers with 2.6. Do you agree with this top 3 or do you think there are even worse games? Let us know below in the comments.
