Manor Lords: A patch will fix homeless bugs and change trade balance

Manor Lords it is already enjoying great success on Steam, however as it is an early access game it is reasonable to expect some elements that are not yet fully functional and consequently numerous corrections and tweaks between now and the launch of version 1.0. In this regard, the author Slavic Magic, aka Greg Styczeń, shared the details of the next update scheduled.

This patch will fix the “strange” bugs related to homelessnesswe assume including the one that generates vagrants even if the player takes all the necessary measures to avoid it, already reported by many users in recent days.

The update will slow down the rate at which AI claims territories, improve carpentry efficiency, tweak archer damage and mechanics of “market oversupply”.

This last point requires a brief explanation. In response to feedback from press and players, who said it was far too easy to abuse the trading system to become very rich in a short time by focusing on a single resource, the author has added a mechanic that lowers the selling price of a product if it is exported excessively, greatly exceeding demand. On the contrary, if a product is massively imported (hence a high demand), its market price will increase and become very expensive. Now Slavic Magic will change this dynamic, as it is “too harsh and punishes regional forms of specialization”.
