Vampire Survivors has received a new major update: the Laboratory, which corresponds to patch 1.10. The launch took place in conjunction with the ID@Xbox event, where a new video of the upcoming DLC ​​was also shown Contra: Operation Guns.

Before watching the video, let’s see the additions brought about by the new patch, completely free: seven new EXTRA achievements, a new challenge level, a new bonus level, a new character, a new weapon and its evolution, a new passive weapon, a new upgrade, the Seal III.

Contra DLC is on the way

The new level It’s called the Laboratory and it’s a challenge level where “everything tries to kill you, including the narrow corridors.” The player will find special levers that he can operate to trigger mainly positive effects (depending on Luck). They will also be able to generate weapons and passive abilities, based on the room they come from.

His evolution Use Luck to deal additional damage. If you pick up Rosaries while using the weapon, they will transform into quadruple explosions that defeat everything visible and turn enemies into XP gems.”

The new character is instead Saint Ladonnawhich starts with a temporary cooldown bonus and automatically unleashes a Rosary when HP reaches a critical level (fully restores HP to recharge the ability).

Speaking of the Operation Guns DLC, we remind you that it will be available starting from May 9, 2024 and that it will cost €2.49. It will focus on Konami’s Contra series. So no vampires, but lots of explosions.
