We know that Housemarque is working on a new IP for PS5 after gaining widespread acclaim with Returnal, but so far the project has remained shrouded in mystery. However, a strange teaser published by the Finnish company attracts the attention of all fans.
Through its Twitter/X page Housemarque shared a black-and-white image of eyes against a backdrop of shattered glass, with “Tomorrow” written in yellow. For the rest there is no other detail or clue on the nature of the announcement, the only certainty is that tomorrow the Finnish company will be part of the PlayStation Studios will reveal something new, and who knows it might be the new IP currently in the works.
By carefully observing the eyes of the teaser image, however, there is the sensation that they are of a different color despite the photo being in black and white: among the comments below the post some fans have pointed out that Selene Vassos, protagonist of Returnal, has heterochromia, with one eye dark brown and the other blue. What if Returnal-themed news were on the way? The deliberately ambiguous teaser certainly knows how to attract attention, waiting to find out if a new episode of the series is really in the works.
Housemarque has grown a lot in preparation for its next game, and perhaps the time has come to raise the curtain on its future, be it a possible Return 2 or the new IP.
