Bandai Namco and the ZOC and Monkeycraft development teams have announced That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chroniclesor the video game official series also known as Life as a Slime in Italy, or I was reincarnated as a slime, more literally.

There are multiple titles for the series in Italy as these depend on the production to which they refer: the Fuse light novel that started the whole story is in fact “I am reincarnated in a slime”, while the Italian edition of the manga from 2015 is known around here as “Vita da Slime”, while the anime mostly keeps the original title “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”, just to keep things very clear.

If nothing else, the video game seems to have a unique title and it is That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles, announced by Bandai Namco for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series release set for August 8, 2024 and a trailer of presentation.

This shows different aspects of the game, which presents itself as a Japanese-style RPG with varied characteristics, obviously focused on the reference series.

Between anime and original stories

The game tells the protagonist’s adventure within the Jura Tempest Federation, taking elements and characters from the animated series, with some additional original elements and others taken from the known story.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles blends the classic features ofJapanese RPGset on exploration and combat, with city builder elements, which lead us to “create a new nation” by building a city and managing it in various economic and organizational aspects.
