Housemarqueone of the teams of PlayStation Studiosjust posted a tweet that suggests she’s close to an announcement.
As you can see below, the company posted without text an image in which we see the reflection of a person within fragments of a mirror. The only truly visible element are the eyes. In yellow, we see the writing “tomorrow”, or “tomorrow”.
The impression is that the team is suggesting that tomorrow we will have the opportunity to find out something and we can assume that it is an announcement of a videogame nature.
What could Housemarque’s announcement be?
We have no official confirmation regarding this Housemarque teaser, but we can make some speculations.
Tomorrow is April 30, 2024, which is the third anniversary of Returnal in PS5 version. It is possible that the new announcement is related to that game, perhaps a sequel or perhaps new content. Of course, it’s possible that this is a completely unrelated new game.
As for the eyes in the image, the only partially clear element, it is not impossible that they are those of the protagonist of Returnal. In fact, remember that the woman’s left eye is lighter than the right and in this image the right is black, while the left has more light parts. However, since it is a black and white image, it is not clear whether these are just reflections.
The fact that the writing “Tomorrow” is in yellow, however, once again makes us think about the fact that it is Returnal, given that it is the color of the game title on the cover.
Of course, it is possible that all of this speculation is wrong. All we have left is wait and see what Housemarque has to announce.
Finally, let us remember that the game director of Returnal has left the PlayStation Studios team.
