Since Steve Jobs has been gone, Apple events have always been quite predictable. But this time during the Let Loose presentation, Apple may have a rabbit to pull out of the hat. Cook’s One More Thing would be the M4 processor.
The prospect that the iPad pro, with all their innovations and accessories, could accompany, or rather be the platform on which the new generation processors underlying Apple’s entire Ai strategy will debut, comes from the usual Mark Gurman in his Sunday newsletter PowerOn.
Surprising but not too much
The use of M4 processors in iPads it would be surprising in some respects but not in others.

The M4 processors were supposed to arrive only in 2025. Now, according to the rumors spread by Gurman, we are even a year ahead of the initial predictions for the debut.
Elsewhere if Apple is really in a hurry, the announcement of the new iPad Pro scheduled for May 7th should overcome any hesitation. The arrival of tablets with the announcement of the M4 processorswould give Apple the chance to immediately start doing its part in the world of AI.
