Mojang has released a new video from the series Minecraft Monthly, in which the official title of the bulk update 1.21 long awaited by the community: it will be called Tricky Trials and it will bring many new featuresas illustrated in the video in question.
We’ve been talking about Minecraft update 1.21 for some time now and some of the new features have already been announced and also shown, through snapshots and similar initiatives, so most of them are known things.
Various new contents have also been added with the recent 1.20.80 update which brought the Armadillo as well as the different wolf variants and armor for these animals.
Tricky Trials it is therefore a direct evolution compared to this latest update released this week, but will also bring other innovations, including a new melee weapon: the mace.

In the video, Mojang also announces the availability of Realms Plusa new version of Minecraft Realms that also introduces social feeds called Realm Stories, as well as character creation items, improved ranged rendering, and more.
In the meantime, Ominous Trail can be tested through Java snapshots or in the Bedrock beta, and sees players taking part in a sort of endurance test in which they have to drink a potion, enter a room and fight all the mobs that come their way, with the possibility thus obtaining an Ominous Trail Key which allows access to various particularly rich rewards.
With this snaphot the Clubwhich will then be inserted into the game permanently with the arrival of the Tricky Trials update, but there are many new features expected with this update, including decorative copper, new blocks, Trail Chamber, Vaults, Wind Charge, new patterns for banners and much more.
There isn’t one yet exit datebut the Tricky Trials update should arrive during 2024, pending further clarification from Mojang.
