After 25 years the Nokia 3210 returns to the shops – News and reviews

In today’s market, where smartphones are becoming increasingly thinner, with large screens, and full of applications, Nokia is aiming for a strong return to the past. The historic Northern European brand, part of the Finnish HDM group for several years, brings the Nokia 3210 back to stores, 25 years after its first launch. This is yet another attempt to ride the nostalgia effect that the brand has already followed for the remarketing of the various Nokia 3310, 2720, 5310, 8210 and many others. The aim is always to offer economical products, in an original format but with a touch of modernity. For example, on board the Nokia 3210 there is Cloud Apps, an application that is a bit of a container of many others, such as YouTube but also the weather and the latest news. What runs the cell phone, in “featured phone” jargon, is the S30+ operating system, launched in 2013. The camera is only 2 megapixels but, evidently, this is not the best device for taking photos. However, it can be a standard multimedia companion, given the ability to play MP3 files, thanks to the slot for microSD memory cards up to 32 GB and the presence of an FM radio. Obviously there is also the video game Snake, which made the Nokia fortune among kids, here in color and in high resolution, at least compared to the classic version. There is 4G, a standard USB-C charging port and three colors available, Y2k Gold, Scuba Blue and Grunge Black all at the price of 79.99 euros.
