Cyclone RC 700, road sports car with single-sided swingarm

A rich range of offers, which demonstrates how much the East, in particular, believes in sports motorcycles and their charm. He also thinks about testifying to this Cyclonea brand of the Zongshen company which has been making headlines lately, with several interesting innovations on the way, such as the RE650 (road) and the RX650 (enduro), both powered by a Norton-derived engine, and the AQS 401, a bobber with semi-automatic transmission.

In the sports motorcycle segment Cyclone instead made its debut with the RC 700, a sports car powered by a four-cylinder in-line engine whose architecture seems inspired by that of the Honda engine that powers the CB650R and CBR650R. We told you about it a few months ago, showing you images of the final renderings of the then RC680, but now the bike has been put into production under the RC700 acronym and the first examples have been exhibited in China at a fair.

Aesthetically the lines are aggressive, with the pointed nose in which the front light unit is integrated, which uses full-LED lights. On the sides there are two air intakes, also taken from the plastic parts of the tail, whose function seems to be purely aesthetic, as are the small lateral aerodynamic appendages.
