BMW 4 Series Gran Coup and i4, a light restyling arrives

BMW announced the restyling of the 4 Series Gran Coupé and the electric i4. This update follows that of the 4 Series Coupe and Convertible announced at the end of January. Also in this case, the changes to the design are very minimal, to give a refresh to the look of these models. With the facelift also comes better standard equipment.

Production of the restyling of the 4 Series Gran Coupé and the electric i4 will start in July. For the moment, the new prices have not yet been announced. We remind you that the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé currently starts at 58,900 euros, while the BMW i4 starts at 59,900 euros.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS

As mentioned, the restyling introduced only minor tweaks to the design of the two cars. At the front, the car manufacturer has slightly revised the double kidney grille which is partially closed on the electric model. With the facelift, the German brand has renewed the LED headlights which present a new light signature characterized by the presence of two vertical elements. Matrix LED headlights are available as an option. Also on request it is possible to have the Laserlight rear lights already offered on the BMW M4 CSL.

The look of the two cars can be customized through optional M Sport and M Sport Pro packages which add aerodynamic elements made of carbon. With the restyling, the new body colors New Cape York metallic and Fire Red metallic were also made available. There is also no shortage of new 19 and 20-inch alloy wheels.

As for the interior, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé and i4 always offer the BMW Curved Display which integrates the screens of the instruments and the infotainment system which can now count on the iDrive 8.5 platform. The new cars also feature a redesigned steering wheel. Optionally, you can request the M sports steering wheel in leather with three spokes and flat bottom. The standard equipment also includes sports seats in Sensatec.

The new BMW i4 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé also add revised ambient lighting to the standard equipment.
