The protagonist of this story is the team that competes in the FIA ​​World Rally Championship, namely the M-Sport, which has achieved sensational results over the years. Well, some time ago he also prepared a Fiat Panda 4×4 for competition, equipping it with an extreme set-up and all the features needed to compete in rallies. As a basis, not the latest version of the Panda was used, but rather, a very old generation, belonging to the last century.

The frame is that of a Ford Fiesta R5, with which the M-Sport team has raced for years in the WRC, in order to adapt this Panda to current safety conditions. The original bodyshell has been widened by 360 mm, which, in the opinion of the team’s experts, It improved the handling of the car, now much easier to drive. From an engine point of view, obviously, a lot of in-depth work was done.

The Fiat Panda 4×4 WRC was equipped with a 1.6-liter Ford Ecoboost engine with 300 horsepower of maximum power and 332 Nm of torque, impressive figures for a car of this type. The traction is all-wheel drive, with a Sadev five-speed sequential gearbox.
