Ubisoft has officially announced that the next Public playtest for XDefiant will be held from 19 to 21 April. The playtest will begin at 7pm Italian time and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Anyone who wants to play can pre-load the game right now.
“As announced in our latest update, we are hosting a server testing session to check the health of our servers and gain critical information as we prepare to release the game,” reads the XDefiant website.
Who participates in the XDefiant test can earn various weapon skins and rewards for increasing weapon XP. Items that will be available on day one include a Shamrock MP5 skin for anyone playing, an M9 Ember skin for those playing as a team, and three weapon XP boosts if you reach level 18 during testing.
When will the full version of XDefiant be available?
At the time of writing A precise release date is not known for the full version of XDefiant.
However, the team says that once testing concludes, it expects “to be able to finalize a launch date” for the shooter. For the moment, Ubisoft explains that the release period is the summer of this yearbut clearly if there were serious problems in the testing phase it is possible that the developers would feel the need to postpone until autumn too.
