IKEA presented its new collection of furniture dedicated to gaming at the Fuori Salone in Milan, following the 2021 collection created together with ASUS.
The new line is called BRÄNNBOLL and was designed by the Swedish company to obtain an “on/off effect”: furniture that is easy to move and position to start the gaming activity.
BRÄNNBOLL’s flagship products are seats. There is an extendable armchair also equipped with wheels to bring it closer to the TV more easily.
But also the inflatable armchair which takes on a donut shape, accompanied by a separate and soft cylinder which can act as a table or footrest.
The most innovative seems to be the armchair that “rotates, tilts and folds” replicating the movements you make while playing.
The collection also includes a real workstation that hides its purpose by closing the gaming chair behind the doors.
There are also accessories such as the transportable basket that can contain gaming peripherals; the table with wheels to keep snacks and drinks within reach; and also the coasters.
Then again: a carpet; the mouse pad that also houses the keyboard; a shop window; and the rolling shelf to keep gaming devices in order.
The BRÄNNBOLL collection will launch in all IKEA markets in September. List prices have not yet been communicated.
