Nintendo Switch Online he decided to give a pleasant surprise to all his fans by revealing well 3 new free games to discover for all subscribed users.
For the first update in April it will be enough to be registered with the regular subscription for Switch consoles (you can find it on Amazon), given that these are exclusively titles available for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System catalogue.
The new free games on the subscription service are Amazing Hebereke, Super R-Type And Wrecking Crew ’98: Two of these were released exclusively on the Super Famicom, making them very interesting additions for European players.
Amazing Hebereke it’s a fighting game capable of supporting up to 4 players, while Super R-Type it’s a great classic horizontal scrolling shooter exclusively single player.
Wrecking Crew ’98however, is the sequels of the game of the same name released on the NES, but which was released only on Super Famicom: this is actually the first time that this chapter of Super Mario is released outside Japan.
GoNintendo points out that on Japanese catalog the list is slightly different: instead of Amazing Hebereke — another title never released outside of Japan — Nintendo Switch Online offers Battletoads in Battlemaniacs And Marvelous: Mōhitotsu no Takarajima.
If you want to play them, in addition to the inevitable language barrier, you will need to download the Super Famicom version of the app using a Japanese account.
Anyway, all the new free Nintendo Switch Online games they are already available from this moment: just open your application for SNES titles to find them at the top ready to wait for you.
If this is not the case, it may be necessary to update your application: make sure you have already downloaded the latest version via the appropriate settings from the home menu of the Switch console.
