Within the traditional end-of-year article on 4Gamer.net, in which various Japanese developers express their intentions for the following year, Atlus’s probable intention to reveal something about Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revivalwith both titles potentially the focus of new ones announcements during 2026.
Nothing is certain, obviously, given that these messages with New Year’s resolutions always remain decidedly vague, but there are some considerations that seem to definitely point to big news coming for the Persona series, also considering that 2026 represents the 30th anniversary of the series.
Considering that there is already a confirmed game in development and perhaps even coming out within next year, while the new chapter should already have been in the works for some time, it is highly probable that on this occasion of celebration information will also emerge about both.

“I would like us to be able to share the enthusiasm with all of you”, he then added, before moving on to mention the new project in development, namely the long-awaited remake of the fourth chapter: “We’ve also received a lot of support for Persona 4 Revival. We can’t wait to make another announcement, so please continue to support us.”
