all the roads affected by the route

The entire Ravenna area is preparing for the passage of the Grande Boucle. The second stage from Cesenatico to Bologna of the Tour de France 2024, scheduled for Sunday 30 June 2024, will cross the territory of the province of Ravenna. For this reason, differentiated closures of the roads involved in the race route are foreseen, approximately between 08.00 and 15.00.

The passage of the riders of the most important international cycling event, which for the first time will take place partly in Italy, with three stages, will be admired by enthusiasts and tourists and is expected in Ravenna around 1/1.30 pm, but the entire the route must be closed to transit from the early hours of the morning, to allow the passage of the caravan preceding the race and for the placement of signs and the necessary protection and safety devices, which must then be removed after the passage of the race, before to be able to proceed with the reopening of the roads. There may therefore be repercussions on the accessibility of the places and activities present along the route and in the surrounding areas, which citizens and operators/managers of activities open on Sundays are strongly advised to take into due account.

The Tour de France arrives in Ravenna: the closing times of all the roads and useful information

The cyclists’ caravan is preceded by the transit of the advertising caravan and the race assistance cars which will pass approximately two hours ahead of the runners. To guarantee the safety of the participants in the race and to prepare the necessary safety devices, all the roads traveled by cyclists will be closed to traffic approximately three hours in advance of the race schedule (attached), providing in some sections, in particular within urban centres, closures further in advance (than three hours) to allow for set-ups and protections.
