Rugby Sound “armored”: here is the safety plan

The municipal operations center and the advanced medical post are active

Legnano – There are three ordinances signed by the mayor Lorenzo Radice to ensure the safe carrying out of the Rugby Soundscheduled from June 27th to July 13th on Castle Island.

Access to the I is prohibitedalone of the Castle

The first concerns the protection of the territory and urban liveability on the days of the event and prohibits unauthorized access to theCastle Island. Furthermore, from 7pm to 2amin the concert area drinks cannot be consumed in glass bottles or cans, nor will it be possible to enter with objects that constitute a risk to the safety of others or with animals. It is also prohibited throughout the municipal territory sale of tickets for Rugby Sound concerts outside of official channels.

In the concert area the Municipal operations center (COC) and the Advanced medical post (Pma) with staff from Local Police, Civil Protection, Red Cross and Fire Brigade with the relevant means.

Goodbye alcohol at night

The second ordinance aims to ensure conditions of tranquility in the city areas most directly affected by the demonstration and imposes, from June 27th to July 13th in the time slot between 6pm and 3am, for commercial administration activities in the public area of not to sell spirits to take away, not to sell alcohol to take away in glass bottles and canswhile, for administration exercises within the Rugby Sound area, it imposes the serving drinks in paper and plastic cups.

The area affected by the ordinance is included between the streets for Canegrate and San Giorgio, Corso Magenta, Via Ratti, Via Verri, Via Santa Caterina, Viale Toselli, Via Strobino and within the border line with the Municipalities of San Vittore Olona and Canegrate.

Changes to traffic

The third ordinance changes the road system and, in particular, prohibits parking permanently on via per San Vittore Olona and in the adjacent dirt car park; establishes, still on via per San Vittore, the one-way from Viale Toselli during the influx of the public and the one-way towards Viale Toselli during the outflow; prohibits traffic in via dei Mulini, from the intersection with via per San Giorgio, from 6pm to 2am; prohibits traffic on via per San Vittore for vehicles coming from via Fornasone from 6pm to the end of the concerts.
