ROME – Tennis is also about rich prize money. Jannik Sinner has accumulated a total of $21,499,280 in his career. At Roland Garros he exited in the semifinals, but the path still guaranteed him others 650 thousand euros to put in the safe. If he had won the Slam, another 2.4 million would have arrived. However, a tennis player’s earnings are not only linked to prize money. This is why the blue, number one in the world, is increasingly turning into a real money machine.
Sinner and sponsorships: one is super
Sinner has two great sponsors behind it: Nike for sports clothing and Head for rackets. Then the food sector, telephony, automotive, luxury clothing. On the other hand, it is number one in the world and attracts more and more companies for advertising. With Nike for example, the ten-year contract seems to have been signed for a total of 150 million dollars (15 per year). But it is a figure (if confirmed) to be understood as a ‘base’. To add, there are bonuses linked to sporting results: rankings and victories in prestigious tournaments guarantee greater earnings. And Jannik, a leader in world tennis, can see that figure rise even further.
