Rugby, November 23rd at the Allianz in Turin Italy-All Blacks

Rome, 6 June. (askanews) – The Allianz Stadium in Turin will open its doors to great international rugby for the first time next Saturday 23 November at 9.10 pm, when Gonzalo Quesada’s Italy will face the New Zealand All Blacks in the third, final test match of the Autumn Nations Series.

The home of Juventus will host the Azzurri for the most important and prestigious autumn test match after the agreement signed between the Italian Rugby Federation and the most successful Italian football club, for an unprecedented premiere for the oval ball in the capital’s facility Piedmontese.

Marzio Innocenti, President of the Italian Rugby Federation: “The All Blacks are an icon of international sport, as is Juventus. Being able to welcome them once again to our country and being able to do so in the best sports facilities in Italy constitutes a new piece of the Federation that we are building day after day. I thank Juventus for making this agreement possible through the adaptation of the facility to our Game and the local institutions, from the Region to the Municipality, who strongly supported Italy’s return to Turin. Italia v All Blacks at the Stadium will be an unforgettable event not only for the rugby community but for all of Italian sport.”
