The “Special Edition” of the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon debuts from 7 to 9 June. The final stage of the Italian club beach volleyball championship was also held on the same courts. And therefore double tournament, double podium, double central court and double fun. For the first time the two historic events with volleyball played on the sand meet on the Venetian beach for a single great weekend of sport. Almost 4 thousand registered for the two competitions, and among them there is no shortage of those aiming to win both titles.
(TurismoItaliaNews) We return to the net in Bibione (Venice), this time for the first and unmissable “Special Edition” branded AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon which, from 7 to 9 June, will allow all fans of the discipline to take to the field alongside of real champions, committed to playing the final stage of the Italian club beach volleyball championship. The most attended volleyball marathon in the world ended only a few weeks ago, but on the Veneto coast it is already time for revenge for the many athletes who did not want to miss the opportunity to “do an encore” and take part in a Edition never played before.
For the occasion, the scenography becomes even more engaging: alongside the 300 beach volleyball nets set up on the sand, there will be two central courts – one for each tournament – where you can watch the most exciting matches of the weekend and the highly anticipated finals, which will be played during the day on Sunday. A double competition, to be played on the same fields for the almost 4 thousand athletes and amateurs registered in the two tournaments, which include distinct game categories. The most classic men’s and women’s 2×2 will in fact be exclusive to the Italian Beach Volleyball Championship for Clubs. The same category will also be present at the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon, but reserved only for athletes of foreign nationality. The 2×2 Mixed, 3×3 Women’s, 3×3 Men’s and 4×4 Mixed challenges will be open to all.
And there is also no shortage of professionals aiming to conquer both podiums of the weekend, simultaneously participating in the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon and the Italian Beach Volleyball Championship for Clubs, for a challenge not only against their opponents, but also against their own limits.
