Alexander Zverev comes to the brink of defeat but before collapsing he gets back up and reaches the round of 16 for the seventh year in a row at Roland Garros. The German, who eliminated Rafa Nadal, defeated the Dutch Tallon Griekspoor 36 64 62 36 76(3)with 55 winners and 41 free.
“Tallon is an incredible player, and incredibly dangerous – said Zverev -. I always struggle against him, I don’t like facing him. But great credit to him, it was all decided on a couple of points here and there. He fought until to the end. Today the atmosphere was incredible, I loved every second of this match.”
