MARGHERITA OF SAVOIA – Sunday 2 June 2024the “National Sports Day”, established by Presidency of the Council of Ministers with the directive of 27 November 2003, which every year takes place simultaneously throughout the national territory on the first Sunday of June. “Anyone who is committed to sport and spreads it helps the country” (Sergio Mattarella, at the Stadio dei Marmi, during his visit to the CONI headquarters, 12/6/2017). It is a great celebration dedicated to those who love and practice sport, with many sporting disciplines involved.
Under the direction of CONESin coordination with sports bodies and affiliated sports associations and together with local authorities, the territories take action with initiatives, events and displays aimed at enhancing the function of sport as fundamental factor of growth and enrichment of the individual, of improvement of the quality of life and of empowerment and strengthening of civil society. This event is organized at the provincial level by the delegation of CONES BATformed by the delegate Antonio Rutigliano and all CONI municipal trustees: Angela Cristiano (Margherita of Savoy), Giuseppe Acquafredda (Trinitapoli and San Ferdinando di Puglia), Riccardo Piccolo (Canosa di Puglia), Carlo Campanile (Minervino Murge), Mauro Di Pierro (Bisceglie), Enza Carbone (Spinazzola), Anselmo Mannatrizio (Trani), Antonio Quacquarelli (Andria), from the technician Vincenzo Lionettiand by teachers Lucia Natola And Antonio Bufo.
The event will be held at “Canneto Beach 2” bathing establishment of the family Riontino, from 5pm to 8pm. The following activities will be carried out: athletics, beach volleyball, handball, gymnastics, table tennis, archery, beach games, dance and martial arts, organized by the following sports associations: ASD Kinderballet and ASD FIGHT Club of Trinitapoli; TAEKWONDO ITF and M&M Bue Vibes by Margherita di Savoia; HANDBALL and ARCIERIDEL SUD of Barletta and ADS POLISPORTIVA POPOLARE of Canosa di Puglia. A representation of students from the “Aldo Moro” Institute of Margherita di Savoia will be present. On the same day there will be the final party of the CONI BAT CENTERS coordinated by the manager Pietro Corcella. The CONI CENTERS will participate: AQUILA AZZURRA of Trani; ASD DOXA and EUROATLETICA of Bisceglie; BARLETTA SPORT 2005 and OLIMPIC in Barletta.
