Summer centres, ASA and Rugby Nord Milano explain the increases

While parents are staging lively protests over the increases in summer camp fees, the companies that will have to manage their implementation explain the reason for the increase to be paid by families. “In the announcement, the municipal administration no longer plans to support the cost of a meal of 5 euros per day – they write from ASA Cinisello – and also the municipality does not fully support the cost of the educators who will have to look after children with special needs. The contribution of 370 euros is not enough.” There is no shortage of controversy over the latest Sports Reform which brings significant increases to the clubs for the management of personnel, all of which are regularly contracted.

For its part, Rugby NordMilano adds other points: “The message is that the municipality will not support the families of minors this summer, therefore the weekly fees for the summer centers will be paid entirely by the families. Fortunately, it has made funds available to partially support minors with disabilities. However – Donato Basile tells us, on behalf of the rugby club – the recruitment and training of support staff will be the responsibility of the three associations that will carry out the Cinisummer 2024 project. As always, we will make ourselves available to welcome minors, with a high-level project, and to support the responsible office. As we did in 2020 (COVID), supporting the speakers, providing them with adult and competent educators, projects, detailed programs and taking on the weight of great responsibilities”
