More than three years after the disagreements that led to the sale of the Argentine – born on 1 December 2020 during the half-time of the Champions League match against the Danes of Midtjylland – Gasperini and Papu met again for dinner, accompanied by the historic deputy of technician Tullio Grittito the Tasso coffeehistoric venue in Piazza Vecchia in the Upper Town.

Gasperini had recently declared: “We hope to meet again soon and say goodbye”. A wish that came true yesterday evening (May 13th) in Bergamo Alta. The two finally hugged each other again, joking and bringing back the indelible memories of the great challenges faced together.
And it is not excluded that in the coming weeks the former captain will see himself again, to support the team in the phase highlight of the season.
