Winning away match for the boys of Ilario Ormezzano Sai SPB, who win 3 to 2 against Zephyr Mulattieri Valdimagra. 2 points which mark the end of the Biella championship at 22 points in total, -5 from Alba, the first of the safe teams in the categories. A strange match to interpret which saw two already relegated teams clash. A very fluctuating level of volleyball, at times of high quality but with some gross errors that break the rhythm.
Zephyr takes the lead 1 to 0 with a good performance from the spikers, who play against the Biella wall. Immediately in the second set the blue-orange reaction brought the match back to a draw and seemed to be heading towards closing the third as well. Zephyr comes back from a 7-point run and manages to take the lead. Immediately canceled by Frison and his companions, who manage to get back on par and win the tie break with a reasonable advantage. A huge applause for Filippo Sarasino, who played a good game and came very close to double figures.
Filippo Sarasino’s comment: “Saturday’s match was hard fought, point by point, until the fifth set which saw us emerge victorious. We knew it would be a difficult match against a prepared team, especially with an opposing player, but thanks to our solid block/defense correlation we managed to take home the match.”
