The Cuneo Granda Volley Academy launches the project for young Italian volleyball players who aspire to play in A1. Often it is parents, grandparents, various relatives who ‘push’ many girls towards a growth path, the objective of the Cuneo women’s A1 club is instead to enhance the talent of young athletes both from a physical, sporting and character point of view , preparing future volleyball champions in an innovative way.
All girls who play volleyball born in the years 2007/2008/2009 and 2010 can participate in the Volley Talent on May 22nd (dedicated to 209/2010) and May 28 (dedicated to 2007/2008) from 3pm until the evening.
A1 Academy and company staff will lead a afternoon of tests to verify the growth and competitive development potential of the participants. The technical characteristics will be analyzed with detailed tests, as well as the aptitude ones. At the end of the day everyone will receive a certificate of participation with a competitive projection table.
«It is an innovative moment – say the management – which allows each athlete to have a prospect of competitive growth at the end of the day but above all they will be able to evaluate adhering to the Talent project which has the ambition of creating a path that by working on talent can lead young volleyball players to a real career in the sector».
The Talent Project allows athletes who will have consistent characteristicsafter the scheduled day, to be able play in the new season in Cuneo in one of the Talent teams. The Academy has also provided the opportunity for a planned stay with a family (Erasmus model) with the choice of the scholastic path of liking, offering the city of Cuneo practically all high school addresses. The Volley Talent Project will be explained in detail to the athlete’s companion and to the player herself.
Registrations are received by email [email protected] indicating the athlete’s name and surname, club of origin, role and date of birth, with an operational contact to be called back and receive more information. Those who would like to participate in the Volley Talent but are unable to attend the proposed dates should still send their request specifying the desire to choose another date: there will in fact be new appointments in the month of June which will serve to satisfy the requests of those who cannot manage in May, especially if coming from other regions.
