MotoGP, Martin wins ahead of Marquez at Le Mans: Bagnaia third – Sport

For years Lapressa.it has offered free and independent information to its readers without any type of public contribution. Private advertising covers part of the costs, but it is not sufficient. For this reason we ask those who read us and follow us every day to give us, if they wish, a contribution based on their possibilities. Even a small support, multiplied by the tens of thousands of people from Modena and Emilia-Romagna who read us daily, is fundamental.

Jorge Martin, on the Ducati designed by Prima Pramac, scores a double at Le Mans and after the Sprint he also takes the long race in the French Grand Prix. In a heart-pounding finale, second place goes to Marc Marquez, on the Team Gresini Ducati, who was the protagonist of a super comeback and overtook Pecco Bagnaia on the last lap. The world champion, who took the lead at the start, thus had to settle for the third step of the podium. Fourth place for the other official Ducati of Enea Bastianini, fifth place for Maverick Vinales (Aprilia). Closing out the top ten are Fabio di Giannantonio, Franco Morbidelli, Brad Binder, Aleix Espargaro and Alex Marquez. With this victory, Martin consolidates his lead in the world rankings. Out Miller, Quartararo, Oliveira, Mir, Bezzecchi and Acosta.

Sergio Garcia (Boscoscuro) dominated and won the Moto2 French Grand Prix.

On the Le Mans track the Spaniard preceded his MT Helmets teammate Ai Ogura, protagonist of a great comeback from 17th position, and the other Boscoscuro, that of the SpeedUp team with Alonso Lopez. At the foot of the podium was the American Joe Roberts (Kalex), fifth was Somkiat Chantra (Kalex). Sixth place for a heroic Aron Canet (Kalex), back from the injury in Jerez, who started on pole and only missed the podium at the end of the race. The top ten is completed by Fermin Aldeguer, Tony Arbolino, best of the Italians, Albert Arenas and Izan Guevara.

In Moto3 David Alonso (CFMOTO) scores a hat trick and wins the French Grand Prix, at the end of a hard-fought race. The Colombian driver, who started from pole, took his third victory of the season at the end of a great duel in the final with Daniel Holgado (GasGas), second, who maintains the lead in the World Championship but by just one point. Collin Veijer (Husqvarna) closes the podium, coming off the victory in Jerez. Fourth place for Joel Esteban (CFMOTO), fifth place for Ivan Ortola (Honda). In order, the top ten is rounded off by Adrian Fernandez, Ryusei Yamanaka (Ktm), Jose Antonio Rueda (Ktm), Tatsuki Suzuki (Husqvarna) and Angel Piqueras (Honda). Eleventh Luca Lunetta, best Italian, out Bertelle, Rossi and Farioli.
