Sprint Le Mans, Acosta out of the top-5
Hearing Pedro speak Acosta, we notice not only the lightheartedness of a boy who still doesn’t know how to control himself on the microphone, but also the ambition of a champion eager to always fight for top positions. It therefore happens that a sixth place does not satisfy the rookie of the GasGas team, which after the Le Mans Sprint admits that with a better start it would have been on the podium.
Acosta’s words
“My mood could have been better. We had the ability to fight for the podium again, I’m sorry I made that mistake at the start. For the first time I didn’t start well, I was fifth in turn-1 but in turn-2 I lost a lot of positions. I got four points, which are few, but it’s all experience“, commented a Sky Sports MotoGP.
Acosta’s ambition is also evident in his willingness to learn from the best. Marc Marquezfor example, who today showed him how to recover about ten positions in two corners: “He made a beastly start from 13th place, for tomorrow we have to look at what he diddefinitely I can try to do that strategy“.
